How to get to the Festival

From the AIRPORT (GUA) with our COSMIC SHUTTLE:

We highly recommend using our Magic Bus that brings you directly to the festival. A completely safe and comfortable service that will take you to our Cosmic Lounge area (near the airport) for then to be transferred and guided through our highlands until the festival venue.

If you find your way, take a shuttle from the airport to Antigua, and find a connecting shuttle at a travel agency to take you to Panajachel or San Pedro La Laguna. From Panajachel or San Pedro, take a boat to Santiago Atitlan and a TukTuk until the festival grounds.

From GUATEMALA CITY or ANTIGUA there are two ways:

- Via Panamerican Highway until the intersection to Solola that takes you to Panajachel. Park and take a boat to Santiago Atitlan or Panajachel; continue driving until Santiago (along the lake).

- Via Highway Palin Escuintla until the intersection to Retalhuleu, Cocales, San Lucas Toliman until Santiago.

From Lake ATITLÁN:

You can take a boat from any of the towns on the lake to Santiago Atitlán.

From MEXICO there are 2 ways:

-From San Cristobal de las Casas, Mexico:

We recommend taking a shuttle at any tour companies that will take you to Lake Atitlan (Panajachel) in approx. 9-10 hours. In Panajachel, take a boat to Santiago.

From Palenque:

We recommend taking a shuttle at any tour companies that will take you to the island of Flores, Guatemala (approx . 6-7 hours). On the island of Flores, take a Pullman night bus (approx. 8-9 hours) to Guatemala City. And in the city take another bus to Lake Atitlan (approx. 3-4 hours). Being on the lake Atitlan; take a boat to Santiago Atitlan.

Palenque is very close to San Cristobal de Las Casas (approx. 6-7 hours) So we suggest traveling to San Cristobal from Palenque and then to Lake Atitlan . Instead of traveling from Palenque to the island of Flores ( Guatemala ).

Estimated travel time by land:

  • Palenque to Flores ( Guatemala ), approx. 6-7 hours.
